The deadline is fast approaching for applications for Canadian Foodgrains Bank Educators Tour to Nicaragua this August. This is a unique opportunity for all types of educators to learn firsthand about global hunger, and gain knowledge that they can share with their students and use to develop and strengthen lesson plans and learning around global issues.
The tour includes visits and discussions with small-scale farmers, homestays in local villages, and a river boat tour through Nicaragua’s remote Northern Autonomous Region to visit Indigenous communities in the area.
Dates: August 2-15, 2016
