The Kelowna Food Safety Workshop originally scheduled for November 8th has been postponed until January 10, 2013 at the Okanagan Golf Club.
This is the first attempt by the BC Food Safety Stakeholders Group (BCFSSG) to hold food safety events outside the BC Lower Mainland and it is important they be supported by attendance from all sectors of the food industry, from farm to fork.
Following on the success of the 2011 symposium, it is our hope that these workshops will be the next step in promoting the culture of food safety in the BC agri-food industry so that every level of the food chain will have food safety in mind in their respective roles.
This workshop is of value for producers, retailers, distributors, suppliers, regulators, processors and other members of the food industry who are interested in promoting a culture of food safety in BC.
